Georgia Topley is a London-based Casting Director, working internationally. She is led by an interest in material and creative collaboration, managing projects of varying scale.
Georgia began her career at Des Hamilton Casting, where she worked for over six years on projects including; Oscar-winning Jojo Rabbit, David Michôd’s The King, Claire Denis’ High Life and multiple series of BAFTA-winning Netflix series, Top Boy. She set up independently in 2023 casting BAFTA-nominated Muriel d’Ansembourg's debut feature, Truly Naked, which is currently in post-production.
Releases slated for 2025: Sisu 2 (Sony Pictures) and The Yellow Tie a biopic of Romanian classical conductor Sergiu Celibidache featuring John Malkovich, Miranda Richardson, and Sean Bean. Projects currently in production include Anna Biller’s The Face of Horror, a ghost story set in 14th-century England with Jonah Hauer-King, Kristine Froseth, Ellie Bamber and Leo Suter in leading roles and Danny Lee’s debut feature, Trash TV, which follows a cynical talk show host whose life unravels over a single day on air, starring Noah Taylor and Millie Brady. Georgia is currently casting Oddly Flowers by Jordan Canning (Schitt’s Creek) and Jamie Fraser’s debut feature Thoughtless (developed with BBC Film) amongst other projects in development.
Her previous credits span features such as Vesper (Eddie Marsan, Rosy McEwen) and Ordinary Love (Lesley Manville, Liam Neeson), as well as series including Trigger Point (created by BAFTA-winner Jed Mercurio) and Ten Pound Poms (created by BAFTA-winner Daniel Brocklehurst). In short form, she has collaborated with creatives including BAFTA-nominated Kris Kelly, Chris Urch (Blackout starring BAFTA-winner Mawaan Rizwan which will stream on Channel 4), Amelia Dimoldenberg, Frank Lebon, Olivia Erlanger and Jeremy Pope — whose short God Is Good was recently acquired by The Criterion Channel.
Georgia is a member of The European Film Academy, BAFTA Connect and a probationary member of the Casting Directors Guild.
